An Interview with Linda Otridge, Set Designer.
Linda Otridge is the set designer at Partington Theatre, where she leads the visual transformation of the stage from an empty space into a fully realised world for each production. With a background spanning graphic design, interiors, and garden design, Linda brings a distinctive eye for composition, texture, and storytelling to every show.

Partington Theatre announce the Partington Players Season for 2025-2026.
In what was Partington Players 70th Season, we are delighted and very proud to announce that this year we received 9 Nominations and 1 surprise nomination, announced on the night.
It is that time of year, when we are looking for prospective Directors to put forward their play choices for our 2026/2027 Season
Congratulations to everyone who took part, from those on stage to those in the background. It takes a lot of people to bring any performance to stage.
Taking place in Norfolk Square, this exciting new festival celebrates making in Derbyshire. There are lots of exciting activities to get involved with including puppet show, storytelling, music, sound, Virtual Reality activities, film screenings, creativity workshops and more, all free of charge.
Everyone agrees what a wonderful weekend was had by all, and it was brilliant to see Partington Theatre playing a huge part in people’s enjoyment.
Glossop Heritage Weekend is happening this Friday 31st May- Sunday 2nd June 2024. Partington Theatre are playing a major part of it.
Restoration work is necessary to maintain the building so that it may be passed onto future generations as a viable base for amateur theatre.
