The costume team manage the Partington’s treasure trove of a wardrobe and are responsible for sourcing, sewing and fitting costumes for each production.
Costumes are such a fabulous part of theatre – they help tell the story, they help actors get into character, and they immediately tell the audience something about what’s going on.

Responsibilities of the Costume Department include:
- Measuring the cast
- Sourcing or sewing costumes
- Alterations
- Helping with quick changes during performances
- Helping the public or members who want to hire out costumes
cOMMITTMEnt
Production specific. For Panto in particular we always welcome extra sewers, no need for a year round commitment if you just want to get involved in the run up to Christmas.

Did we mention sewing? Alteration and patchwork skills is a big assett on this team.
