“It has been a huge honor to have been given the chance to direct ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time at Partington Theatre and I have fully enjoyed every moment of this challenge.
Of course a project like this can only happen with a strong and talented team and I was very lucky to have the amazing support of- our wardrobe team Lorraine and Catherine, Paul and Katy on props, Thomas on prompt and projection operation, Katy and Zoe on projection presentation and a fantastic set design team. It was a mammoth task on lightning for Mark who pulled out all the stops, along with Mike, Damon, Rich and Cameron on sound. Thanks so much to you all, without you the show would not go on.
A huge shout out to Ellen, who made Wellington the dog, using a 3d printer, a rice filled body and covered him with fur, what a super multi talented member of our cast. Thanks so much.
I was also blessed with a star studded and dedicated cast. Every single one of them brought their hearts and souls along to rehearse, they were enthusiastic and open to my crazy ideas.”
“This show was always going to take a massive team effort, with so many layers- physical theatre, stylistic box moves, fast paced scenes, along with all the emotion and characterisation of any other play and they smashed it.
It was a truly positive atmosphere. Congratulations to you all, especially Billy for pulling off the Christopher role in such great style, your performance truly was outstanding! Although no stranger to panto, this was Billy’s first play but who would ever guess!”
We’re delighted to host the Glossop Chronicle adjudicator and value their thoughtful insights into our work.
“Thanks to each and every person who made this show happen. There are so many unsung heroes involved in our local local theatres and that’s how the magic happens! This show will warm my heart for many years to come.”
