Partington Players are holding an open casting call for this fresh take on the Arthurian legend, this promises to be a fun filled panto for everyone. Written and directed by Zoë Bowers.
Play dates: 27th November – 7th December
Audition date: Sunday 14th July, 6:30pm
Rehearsals begin: 13th October
Camelot is in celebration for the May Festival and the knights are returning home for the tournament. Arthur is ready to receive them and hear all their stories. But someone has evil plans to ruin the day, Gwen (Guinevere) gets kidnapped, the knights go off to rescue her. There are dance battles and sword fights and all the usual panto shenanigans…
Please prepare a song for the audition (not all roles have solos, but all cast members are required to sing group songs). Pick something you enjoy and sing well. Backing tracks can be played if provided on a USB stick, or bring your own device with speaker. To get a copy of the script please email the director.
