About the play
Finding out that they are to be made redundant from their cushy evening cleaning job in an office block – 3 older ladies worry about how they are going to make ends meet given their paltry state pension and that their age would make it almost impossible to find alternative employment. Dave, the very young, bullying and ultimately lazy supervisor adds to the angst.

CHARACTER DETAILS
3 Females – playing age over 70 1 Male – playing age under 40? Elsie Divorced and has a very close relationship with Grandson (who is 40) Gladys Married to Billy (for ever), bit unworldly?
Olive Ex Girl Guide leader – she mentions this a time or two. Dave Office Manager. Bit of a Mummy’s boy and still living at home where Mummy rules the roost. Tries to exert his authority over the ladies.

NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR
There are no hidden depths to this piece it is pure end of the pier fun. There are sexual references and double entendres a plenty. This will be a true ensemble piece with plenty of laughs along the way. A great play to end the season with.
