Notice is hereby given to all members in respect of the 2025 Annual General Meeting to be held in the Clubroom at Partington Theatre on Thursday 30th October at 7pm.
The Chair of the Board of Trustees cordially invites all members and hopes that as many people as possible will attend the meeting to transact the business on the agenda. If you have any ideas or suggestions you wish to be discussed, please forward these to the Company Secretary by 16th October 2025.
This is an opportunity for all our membership to convene, to reflect upon the successes of the 2024/2025 Season and discuss the theatre’s future plans.
Adult members (over the age of 18) with two years membership are eligible to stand for the Board of Trustees. The Board are particularly looking for individuals with charity, finance and buildings backgrounds at this time. But anyone interested in securing and building the future of Partington Theatre Club Limited will be welcomed.
The nominations to the Board of Trustees will be announced after the nomination window has closed.
We ask that anyone wishing to become a trustee reads the Charity Committee’s Document ‘The Essential Trustee’ (link below) and our governing document, the Articles of Association, found on Companies House.
Please complete the nomination form if you are interested and return either by post to the Company Secretary c/o Partington Theatre Club Limited, Henry Street, Glossop, Derbyshire SK13 8BW or email jose@partingtontheatre.org.uk to arrive no later than 16th October, 2025.

Please remember that only members can vote. If you need to renew your membership, or join (membership currently runs from 1st August to 31st July), please contact the office by email prior to the AGM.
If you are unable to attend the AGM but still wish to exercise your right to vote then you may send a proxy notice to the Company Secretary.
The deadline for receiving Proxy Notices is Monday 27th October.
