Hi, I’m Jo, founder of ‘The Art Nook’ and ex-secondary school teacher launching children’s art classes in Glossop this summer. 
The classes are designed to give children between 7-11 a creative hour, drawing, painting, and making in a group of like-minded mini artists! Whilst you’ll need to accompany your child in the class, the sessions are also intended to give you as much of a break as possible, so refreshments and a quiet corner will be available for you to take some time for yourself, or meet other parents/carers, whilst I engage the artists.
The classes will be held at the beautiful Partington theatre in the centre of Glossop, from 11am to noon most Fridays in the summer holidays (25th July and 1st, 8th, 15th and 29th August). Each session is £10 per child, including all equipment – their accompanying grown-up is free!
