Derbyshire Makes Festival in Glossop

Taking place in Norfolk Square, this exciting new festival celebrates making in Derbyshire. There are lots of exciting activities to get involved with including puppet show, storytelling, music, sound, Virtual Reality activities, film screenings, creativity workshops and more, all free of charge.

  • 7:30pm Lost Stories (Story telling with the Creeping Toad)
  • 2pm – 4pm Gruesome Glossop (Film screening)
  • 2pm – 8pm Sound Tapestry in the Auditorium
  • 6:30pm An audience with the maker, Claire Savory in the Auditorium

A 3 yEAR PROgRAM

Derbyshire Makes is a three year, county wide, program of cultural activity, that seeks to achieve a wider awareness of Derbyshire’s creative legacy. 

The program of making-related events and activities across Derbyshire, led by Derbyshire County Council is delivered by Local and Arts Derbyshire and is funded by the county council and Arts Council England.
