Derbyshire Makes Festival in Glossop

Taking place in Norfolk Square, this exciting new festival celebrates making in Derbyshire. There are lots of exciting activities to get involved with including puppet show, storytelling, music, sound, Virtual Reality activities, film screenings, creativity workshops and more, all free of charge.

A 3 yEAR PROgRAM

Derbyshire Makes is a three year, county wide, program of cultural activity, that seeks to achieve a wider awareness of Derbyshire’s creative legacy. 

The program of making-related events and activities across Derbyshire, led by Derbyshire County Council is delivered by Local and Arts Derbyshire and is funded by the county council and Arts Council England.

Linda Otridge is the set designer at Partington Theatre, where she leads the visual transformation of the stage from an empty space into a fully realised world for each production. With a background spanning graphic design, interiors, and garden design, Linda brings a distinctive eye for composition, texture, and storytelling to every show.
